Last week, President Ursula von der Leyen has announced that 2023 will be the European Year of Skills. Unemployment is at a record low and job vacancies are at a record high!
The European initiative stems from the challenges and opportunities brought to the labour market by the digital and green transitions, which call for new skills of the workforce.
We need much more focus in our investment on professional education and upskilling, so that we can build a highly skilled environment while watching it with people’s aspirations.
CIRPS in partnership with YesEuropa and Eureka, and thanks to a MOU between ISDMAS (and its many campuses within and outside of Nigeria) and the CEO, prof. Samson Chibueze Orjiungo and IBI, and the President, prof. Edmund Ugwu Agbo, is glad to inform that is now enrolling more than 1 Million African students within the program ‘Boost for Africa’.
